Methodist Rehabilitation is proud to announce the appointment of Chief Joseph Wade as its new Director of Security, effective September 9, 2025. With more than three decades of distinguished law enforcement service, Chief Wade brings extensive leadership, expertise, and a proven record of community-focused public safety to his new role.
Wade has dedicated his career to protecting and serving his community, earning respect across the state for his integrity, professionalism, and ability to lead with compassion. His work has included strengthening partnerships with community organizations, advancing safety initiatives, and creating trust between public safety professionals and the citizens they serve.

As Director of Security, Chief Wade will oversee all aspects of Methodist Rehabilitation’s safety operations, including emergency preparedness, facility security, and collaboration with local agencies. His presence will reinforce Methodist Rehabilitation’s dedication to providing a safe and healing environment for those recovering from disabling injuries and illnesses.
