Dr. Ryan McGaughey, Dr. Jeremy Smitherman, Dr. Patrick Klar, LeLouise Davis, FNP-BC, and Catherine Mordecai, FNP-BC are dedicated to helping patients find lasting relief from pain and return to active, fulfilling lives.

Ryan McGaughey, M.D. is ABMS board-certified in Anesthesiology and Pain Medicine. Dr. McGaughey is a graduate of the University of Alabama and the University of Tennessee College of Medicine. He completed both his residency in Anesthesiology and a fellowship in Pain Management at the University of Mississippi Medical Center.
Jeremy Smitherman, M.D. is board-certified in Anesthesiology and Pain Medicine. Dr. Smitherman holds a degree in Mechanical Engineering from Mississippi State University and earned his medical degree from UMMC, where he completed his residency in Anesthesiology, followed by a fellowship in Pain Management.
Patrick Klar, M.D. is board-certified in Anesthesiology and is fellowship trained in pain management. He is a graduate of the University of Mississippi and UMMC. His background includes leadership roles in surgical and anesthesia practice settings and clinical experience focused on complex pain conditions.
LeLouise Davis, FNP-BC has over 17 years of practice experience in pain management. She is dedicated to helping patients find pain relief and get them back to a functioning lifestyle. She collaborates with Methodist Pain Management partnering physicians to provide comprehensive pain management care, including personalized treatment plans and non-surgical interventions.
Catherine Mordecai, FNP-BC has a diverse clinical background spanning acute care, wound management, oncology research coordination, and sports medicine nursing. She most recently served in a pain management advanced practice role at the University of Mississippi Medical Center, where she supported comprehensive patient care planning and clinical research initiatives.
