Methodist Rehabilitation proudly celebrated its 50th anniversary with a special dinner held October 14 at the Country Club of Jackson. The milestone event brought together founders’ families, board members, staff, patients, and community supporters to honor five decades of innovation, compassion, and life-changing care.
The evening featured inspiring patient stories that highlighted the profound impact Methodist Rehabilitation has had on the lives of Mississippians recovering from disabling injuries and illnesses. Adding to the celebration was a keynote address from Bishop Sharma D. Lewis Logan of the Mississippi United Methodist Conference, whose message of faith and perseverance resonated deeply with the center’s mission.
In attendance were members of Methodist Rehabilitation’s Board of Trustees and members of the Wilson Research Foundation Board, along with several past patients who shared their personal journeys of recovery and independence.
The event served as both a reflection on Methodist Rehabilitation’s rich history and a celebration of the promise ahead, as Methodist Rehab continues to advance rehabilitation medicine through patient care, research, and innovation.
