Methodist Rehab Welcomes New Director of Respiratory Therapy

Methodist Rehabilitation is pleased to welcome Liza Seaberry, RRT, MHSA, as our new Director of Respiratory Therapy.

Liza brings more than 15 years of respiratory therapy experience, with a strong background in clinical leadership, staff education, and respiratory care operations. She previously served as a Registered Respiratory Therapist and Night Shift Supervisor at the University of Mississippi Medical Center, where she provided leadership and oversight of respiratory care operations. She also served as an Adult Tracheostomy Educator, providing specialized education, clinical support, and coordination of care for adult patients with tracheostomies.

Throughout her career, Liza has worked in a variety of critical care settings and has extensive experience caring for ventilator-dependent patients, developing respiratory care protocols, mentoring staff, and collaborating with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals. She also previously served as a Registered Respiratory Manager at The Heart Hospital Baylor in Plano, Texas.

Liza holds a Master’s degree in Health Systems Administration from the University of Mississippi Medical Center and a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Argosy University.

In her new role at Methodist Rehabilitation, Liza will provide leadership for our Respiratory Therapy Department and help advance high-quality respiratory care for the patients we serve. We are excited to have her expertise, leadership, and commitment to patient care as part of the Methodist Rehabilitation team.
