Biography
Terri Meadows serves as the Chief Nursing Officer and Vice President of Nursing at Methodist Rehabilitation Center. In her role, she plans, organizes, develops, directs, and evaluates the overall operations of nursing and other patient care–related departments, including Pharmacy, Respiratory, Radiology, Social Services, Volunteer Services, Laboratory, and various external services. She ensures that evidence-based practices are followed and that personnel deliver safe, cost-effective care, collaborating across disciplines to achieve both departmental and hospital-wide goals. Terri is also responsible for driving high performance in hospital accreditation standards and quality benchmarks at the local and national levels.
With 45 years of nursing experience in both corporate and non-profit settings, most of it within acute care, Terri brings a wealth of expertise to her leadership role. She has eight years of experience in rehabilitation nursing, 42 years in management, and has served as a Chief Nursing Officer for 15 years. Terri earned her Associate of Science in Nursing from Hinds Community College and both her Bachelor of Science and Master of Health Science Administration from Mississippi College.
She is an active member of the Mississippi Nurses Association, the Association of Rehabilitation Nurses, and the Mississippi American Heart Association. Terri has also served on the Nursing Advisory Boards at Belhaven University and Hinds Community College.
