Chris Blount serves as the Executive Director of the Wilson Research Foundation at Methodist Rehabilitation Center. In his role, he is responsible for raising funds to support human research studies, advanced education initiatives, innovative therapy technology, and other critical needs across the hospital and continuum of care. He also serves as part of the hospital’s administration, assisting with strategic communications, special projects, and community and church relations.

Chris has served at MRC for 18 years and holds a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Centenary College of Louisiana.

He is an active member of the Association of Fundraising Professionals of Mississippi and was recognized as Fundraising Professional of the Year in 2018. Chris has served as past president or chairman of several organizations, including the Madison City Chamber of Commerce, Madison-Ridgeland Rotary Club, the AFP Mississippi Chapter, and the Communications Commission of the Mississippi United Methodist Church.

Through his work, Chris combines professional expertise with a dedication to advancing patient care, supporting the community, and strengthening the mission of Methodist Rehabilitation Center and the Wilson Research Foundation.
